How a changing Cronulla will effect your fitness

There is no doubt about the fact that Cronulla is changing and these changes may be effecting your fitness more than you know.

Cronulla has always been an iconic spot in the Sutherland Shire with it's beautiful beaches, fun nightlife and happening restaurants and there is little wonder why it's popularity continues to grow. In recent times our Cronulla gym has seen some enormous changes which may be effecting your fitness more than you know.

Food

We know that to stay fit and maintain a healthy lifestyle, food preparation is critical but sometimes it's just time for a cheat meal or to eat out. With an increase in new coffee shops and restaurants (especially burger joints) there is a temptation to maybe 'overdo' our cheat meal. With the average hamburger around 500 cal (not including a drink or fries) burning off one extra burger after indulging yourself means an extra hour in the gym! (or one of our 30 minute hight intensity semi private sessions).

As a Taylor Made Personal Training member we set you up with your own personalised macronutrient intake to ensure your weight loss goals are achieved. We know that nutrition is 70-80% and exercise is the other 20-30% (You can't out train a bad diet) and that is why we not only provide training sessions but nutrition support until your goals are achieved!

Increase in population

There is no doubt over the past few years that there has been an increase of developments and more people living here. Driving into Cronulla can sometimes be a difficult task but with some local knowledge and some positive thoughts we can become fitter and healthier. Why not consider parking further away and walking to your destination or riding your bike?
