Help beat cancer with this 'must do' shire event.

What an amazing weekend! If you are unsure about the relay for life event, it's an event to raise money for the Cancer Council and this year it raised over $400,000!
TMPT Cronulla - Shire Relay Wrap Up
Taylor Made Personal Training Cronulla decided to enter a team this year, thanks to some influential conversations with Trainer Brooke. We didn't need too much convincing and quickly advertised in our fitness studio to gather participants.
The aim is to keep someone from your team running, jogging or walking around the track for 24 hours straight (and raise as much money as you can for the Cancer Council). This is a fantastic way to:
- Set some personal goals (like run a marathon)
- Get sponsored and raise money for the Cancer Council
- Be part of a team, motivate and succeed together.
What I love about the relay for life is the cause. It is raising much needed funds for the Cancer Council and there are so many passionate volunteer staff around the place who are more than happy to chat to you. The Shire Relay also enables each and every person to have a go, with a relaxed approach which enables all participants to complete whatever distances and/or time they wish (you're a winner just by being there).
We managed to have some fantastic results on the day!

A fantastic effort by our trainers but let's not forget the amazing effort by everyone! The outstanding TMPT team of members, friends and family who came along and completed lap after lap for our team, anywhere from an hour, up to many (MANY) hours, sometimes in the very early hours of the morning (special mention to Nick, Brett, Sarah and Yo).
The Taylor Made Personal Training Team Cronulla greatly appreciate your effort and would like to thank you, our team and the Shire Relay for making the day so much fun! Let's work together to beat Cancer!
